Mystically you entered my life
like a dream of white smoke on crystalline water
visibly trembling with intensity
I was compelled to drink from your lips
the fountain of youth

With starlight gleaming around you
the room watched us
touch, kiss and talk

A blue flame of passion
grew among the lovers
both old and new
as private memories
sprang into their eyes

Gently you reached out
lacing your fingers in mine
guided by love
up the mountain of faith

As we floated to the door
waiters and cooks
smiled in our direction
a frozen stillness 
remaining in time
