Life is funny.

One time I was walking through my school.  The bell just rang dismissing us
from class.  I went to my locker to get my books.  I bent down and opened my
locker and threw my books in.  I started to get up when I heard familiar voices.
I turned my head slightly to identify their owners.  I chuckled a little as I 
saw one of my friends talking to a girl.  I stayed at my locker because I forgot a
book (OK it was easdropping, but I have a bad habit of being in the wrong place
at the right time).  At first they were just chit-chatting, you know shotting the 
breeze.  I listened on as the girl started fidgiting and stammering.  I stiffled 
a laugh as she built up the courage to ask him out.  He looked at her and shifted his weight
to his other foot.  He looked calm but I knew he was nervous.  He stood there 
for a second and said yes.  They hugged and she she said she loved him.  He
just hugged her and muttered I love you.  She said that she wanted to be together
with him forever.  I then jogged off to class, laughing all the way.  I couldn't help
myself and laughed for almost 5 minutes (this didn't make my next period teacher
very happy).  Those were the exact words she said to me when I asked her out.
Have you ever noticed how forever seems like just 5 weeks.
