In My Life

In my life there are a lot of things
That mean very little to me
There are my clothes
You know I don't put much emphasis on them
There is my job
Which is simply a means to pay the bills
There is all my junk
Most of which I never touch

In my life there are a few things that mean a lot to me
There are my friends
Life would be boring without them
There is my car
The one thing that it is O.K. for a guy to be obsessed over
And there is you
Whom mere existence is meaningless without
