Watercolor Painting

Lost in solitude, I wander through life,
As if it were a still, watercolor painting.
Nothing moves and there are
No traces of sound,
To echo through my
Listening ears.

I hear only footsteps,
That graze across
The silent earth as
I glance upon the
Path that lies
Undisturbed before me.
