The Smile

Fresh from your love,
A stolen exchange
In mid-afternoon
At the office.
Trying to look normal,
Keep a poker face,
Contain my euphoria,
Give no outward sign
Of our recent passion.
Setting my features carefully
As I sit at my desk,
But for all my efforts
I still wear an odd little smile...
Like the Mona Lisa.
