An Addiction

You are such an addiction
For me
Worse than all this coffee
In my system
You make my heart race
Faster than I thought possible
You make it impossible for me
To see straight
My thoughts are fragmented
They don't make sense...
You're a nasty little habit
That I just can't seem to quite
No matter how hard I try
I just can't seem to give you up
And I don't know exactly how healthy
That is...
You weaken my knees
And make the world blur
Oh, and don't forget how dizzy I feel
Everytime you touch me...
Your lips are such poision
But the warmth of your body
Is the anti-dote
So, the venom and vaccine collide
Within me...
      Raging...
                  Burning...
         Scalding...
                    Healing...
     Soothing...
Ah....
Such a delicious balance
Of destruction
And restoration...
You're such a drug
To me...
So, how much
For a gram?
