what I need

a teacher once told me,
that a writers worst enemy
is the blank page.
Write, he said.
Get words down,
don't worry about
form
or flow
but spill them out.
and now,
I've thoughts I want to share
I've feelings and emotions
and I want to write,
I want
to express,
and to be understood,
but this blank page is defeating me.
I love,
and I feel
and this confusion is overflowing.
This confusion is damning,
the need to create is is burning from within
the need to share,
the need to love and to be loved,
the need to answer my own questions.
Questions I don't know
I want to ask.
