Sun and Moon

You make me feel the sun,
but with this sister moon
must follow.  Her ever
changing state has started
to take over me and she is
pulling me, North, South, together.
The heat and the rush you bring
with each touch, each caress,
each kiss of your sweet mouth.
You taste familiar, yet virgin to me-
a sweetness I could learn to live with
and yearn for, I do yearn for.
And as the sun and moon have been inseparable,
for me this daytime desire comes
with a nighttime fear.  Fear of
what I want and can't have, fear of
what I want and can have, fear of
what you've given me, fear of
what's to come.
