Differential

The expression on your face is a function of this problem
Want to solve it with a smile, but I'm afraid of the answer.

Living lives in parallel.
Beginning at an origin of two different axes intersecting perpedicular at one point.
If only I knew what the point was.
I think it's too much to ask.

I love you horizontal.
Follow the curves of your body.
You understand the angles of mine.
The slope of this relationship is too dizzying to ponder.
Sine, cosign. Yours or mine. Yours and mine?
Love is definitely tougher than algebra, trigonometry, and calculus all wrapped up together.
Somehow this all makes sense when we're intertwined.
Seperate it seems like we're different dimensions.

It's too complex to integrate these lives.
To make sense of all these real and imaginary parts.

We celebrate the overlap.
Argue over the differential.
And make up with an intersection.
Then go off on a tangent.

The expression on your face is a function of this problem
Want to solve it with a smile, but I'm afraid of the answer.

Right now it's ok.
I love you horizontal.
