To reduce this Thursday's crap factor I put a nice black and white image of Joan Baez and Bob Dylan on the desktop they're smiling, a daunting duo holding strange flowers I don't know why they didn't last (Joan and Bob, that is...I don't care about the flowers) but I listened to "Idiot Wind" for clues as I applied my makeup appreciating the "Grand Coolee Dam to the Capitol" rhyme (thanks to Ginsberg for the translation) I don't feel daunting at work I feel invisible as I create on the sly hoping we'll make it to a sweeter season with or without the flowers. |
