What do you most miss? A tender kiss or our nightly walk or just when we talk? You know what was stupid? My whole idea of cupid! That love would come my way on one beautiful day. In my time I've been hated looked-past and under appreciated. But only when I'm with you that I realize how much hurt you do. My dog-tags were my heart and I thought that might have been obvious from the start but I was missed and wrong. So I keep living my life like a sad, sad song. I was here yesterday, but I am gone today. Forgotten tomorrow is the cause of this sorrow? Maybe one day you will see what you truly meant to me. I just wanted to hold your hand and be there so you could understand. |
