Never Enough Blues

It hard on a man's head he get acquainted with her brick wall,
Tryin' to chisel through her skull don't make no difference at all.
Even a jackhammer stand no chance when she made up her mind,
That nothing you did mean the first thing to what you left behind.
No matter which way you go, there a concrete blockade in you path,
An' there ain't nowhere you turn don't feel th' chasm o' her wrath.

In every corner o' the world sit people who can't be satisfied,
Cryin' 'bout them deprivations, lamenting they shattered pride.
Got excuses for every occasion, an' many reasons why as why not,
Turn you back for a second they stab you without second thought.
In good times they praise you, say couldn't be no better friend,
But come trouble the worm'll turn, damn you to Hell with no end.

Don't think even Murphy got himself law that apply in this case,
So I'll go universal an' apply some astrophysics in his place.
Sometime they like black holes, 'cause nothing escape they grip,
If yous unlucky to get caught in range, then pack for the trip.
As pull of her gravity is incredible, an' th' ride'll be rough,
Even wit' all o' Creation in they grasp, it ain't never enough.
