| Not a day goes by that you don,t cross my mind in some way,now its Xmas ,the silly season.What would I like for a Xmas present,hmmm tough one.You knocking on my door saying he,s kicked you out and can you stay ?.You knocking on my door saying after all this time you realise you made a mistake and will I take you back?.You just knocking at my door?.Strangely none of these would bring a smile to my face on Xmas morning despite the fact that I love you as much now as I did all those years ago.Too much time has passed and we aren,t the same people we were back then, except in my mind.So if I had to make a choice of present and all choices were you knocking my door on Xmas morning then I would ask that when I open the door you just put your hands in mine,kiss me for the last time, let me see one last look of love in your eyes(Oh those eyes)and say Mike its time to let me go. |
