What is love? I dont know any more. I see so many who say they are in love, but suddenly I dont believe them. Others say they love me, and usually I say it back, but lately all I say is "no you dont, stop lieing". So what can it be? Is love real? Has it ever been real? Have we been so brainwashed that we dont even know what true love is any more? Or have I been too brainwashed. I dont understand how people claim to love you, but then you find out they are liers, cheaters, completely different people than who you knew. So how is that love? Maybe this is just a personal illusion, maybe I've been told I was loved too many times and had too many two-faced lovers. "Love", whether it is a fire of pure heart and soul, or its a charade of false feelings, seems to be too much trouble. |
