I don't believe in Biblical miracles or Miracle Whip or Siegfried & Roy's brand of magic or any tricks involving barely dressed bimbos and boxes with secret compartments I don't believe in much, actually my bullshit detector is functioning fine but after nine months of knowing and loving you I am still in awe of the mystical magical mojo you work on me so effortlessly you do not tap dance on my last nerve you do not play games you don't keep count and blame me for mistakes I've long since apologized for I still feel giddy when we kiss and gaze into each other's eyes I am still surprised by the depth and intensity and the truth and the purity I'm still overwhelmed and grateful looking in the mirror and inside myself wondering why and how whispering prayers that only you hear. |
