"I never sweat anyone" I believe is what i said To you Trying to make a point Trying to sound tough. But the real point is That I am tough. I am. Making it in this world thus far. Not afraid of much. Not even of being alone. But you. here you are. And suddenly I am afraid of living in a world That does not include you Either now Or at some point In some unknown future. So here I am alone, afraid, and yes, sweating Not knowing if it's good or bad But knowing that it makes me human I am. Human and afraid. With both blood and concrete running through my veins. |
